ETEC 524: Week 4 In-class assignments

I really had a fun time working with in-class assignments this week. I have learned a lot of new things. This week I have learned an aggregator called http://www.bloglines.com . It is very useful and very convenient to keep update on my classmates’ blogs. I feel like the people who design the programs and web pages are very intelligent.

Another lesson that I have learned is using bookmark with Del.icio.us. It is very fun and convenient if you do not have your own computer you still get your favorite websites anywhere that you can find Internet access. The wow thing is the website allows you to add your network so you can look at your networks’ favorites as well. Isn't it very convenient and fun?

I have Yahoo account. I have tried to use Yahoo RSS of my classmates’ blogs but the problems that I found were that I could not use the URL like http://ck2514.blogspot.com but I have to use this one instead http://ck2514.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss . It was not convenient. Another problem was I could not add some URL and I did not know why. The other one was I could not change the titles of the blogs after I added them to my RSS Feeds of Yahoo. Maybe they allow to do so, but I have not found the way yet.

I really enjoyed last week and this week in-class assignments. I’m glad that I am in this class and I’m looking forward to next week class. : )
